Not only am I mama of two little ones but I am passionate about helping other parents get better sleep. I know firsthand how challenging it is to function on just a few hours of sleep. I also know how wonderful it is to have BOTH of my littles consistently sleeping through the night. Yes, I said it! I have two under two sleeping through the night. I want to help you and your family achieve better sleep. I will take the time to understand your current situation and create a sleep plan tailored to your little one and your family. I will be here for support along the way! I encourage you to reach out to ask questions and, of course, to share the victories!
What makes Bedtime Babble different?
Nope! As a mama of two myself, it breaks my heart just thinking of putting my little one in their crib to cry until they fall asleep. Yes, the Extinction Method (crying it out) is one method that is used during sleep training but will not be the method that we use for your little one. We will uncover a sleep plan that works best for you AND your little one. It is likely that there will be some crying involved but it all depends on the child. Just keep in mind that your little one is acquiring a new skill and is developing healthy sleep habits. I will support you while your baby or toddler are learning the skills to fall asleep independently.
Does “sleep training” mean that I will have to listen to my baby “cry it out”?
Of course! I would be more than happy to work with you wherever you might be. I have had the opportunity to help families from Seattle to North Carolina! We will communicate through email, text message, phone calls and video chat. It all depends on what you are most comfortable with.
I am not located in Illinois. Can you still help me?
Teaching your baby to fall asleep independently is kind of like a puzzle. There is a particular pattern that will make all the pieces fall into place, though that pattern can be hard to figure out. Not one child is the same. Books, blogs, podcasts, and articles are great resources, but having a certified sleep consultant to work with can be the difference of getting a better sleep after a few nights or taking months to see any changes. I will work with you to learn more about your little one and create a plan that will work for you and your family.
